conference schedule
Our annual conference is swiftly approaching!
I’ve been asked by the organizing committee to pass on to you the information below. It looks like a rich and refreshing conference! We have Wolterstorff, Smith and Clapp as speakers, and the promise of an evening of feasting, relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. There will even be a few seminars on some key campus-related topics, not to mention some times to reflect and ruminate together!
Don’t forget: THIS IS FOR YOUR STUDENTS, TOO! They can come to GRusalem for the low, low fee of $50! That is unbeatable!
No one understands your experience of God’s mission on campus like your fellow Reformed campus ministers and students. This is the time to connect, share best practices, and encourage one another on the strategic, spiritual journey of campus mission. Join us as we worship, wonder, and get a little wacky with our Michigan colleagues.
Here’s the scoop:
Conference Theme: “Connections: From Facebook to Face-to-Face”
We tossed and turned in the “whitewater” last year, and this year we stretch to find some moorings, some “connections.” The world is whirling away, spinning like a crazy top, and we need to find poise as a loose network of faith-filled children of God. How can we stay in touch, open ourselves to the colors of culture, learn from difference, and communicate God’s story with clarity and passion?
Dates: May 20 (afternoon registration 3PM) – May 23 with noon lunch.
Registration goes through: Great Lakes Region of Home Missions - Ruth Hiemstra.
